We arrived at our hotel about noon. Our room was not going to be ready until 4pm.
Our Hotel is "Hever resort" located at Hever castle. This castle is a MUST SEE for the Kent area. In true Audrey Tour fashion after being awake for over 24 hours we decided to spend the afternoon there. And what a fantastic afternoon it was. The castle was remarkable and the gardens were beyond your wildest imagination....they were gorgeous. There was a quilting exhibit being held on the grounds and we saw the handiwork of many English quilters. We even had the opertunity to chat with some of the ladies about their work.
This area is truly beautiful with rolling hills quaint villages and lush semi tropical vegetation.
We had a wonderful dinner at our hotel this evening, and following this, we are going to retire!
